Marina Scalafiotti’s piano website
In fact, Marina Scalafiotti is not me, but my wife. Her work is piano, and mine is making websites, so here we are with a piano website.
Progressively the site is building up with more content. A few videos and MP3’s of a concert Marina held last summer with French piano music are online, and the main project going on is the plan to record videos with all of Bach’s Inventions. We’d like to upload one new Bach Invention each week, but it turns out hard to make time for this every week.
Fresh videos are being uploaded to Youtube these very days!
Played on the fortepiano we have Beethoven’s “Waldstein - Aurora“, with the full version downloadable in MP4 format for your Ipod and soon also the MP3 version.
On the tape I have :
- Variations on a thema of Duport by Mozart, also played on the fortepiano.
- Some new versions of Debussy’s Images II (there are already some MP3s available from previous live performance)
- Debussy’s Suite pour le piano, including the toccata this time (there are already some MP3s available for download from a previous live performance).
At last, if you might have some request for Marina, you can post a video response to the video below (click on it to go to Youtube), and I’ll probably be able to convince her to put your request online.
